Aries Project. November 06

Several of our Association Representatives took part in a project around Burnley Wood which showed us what our beloved Burnley Wood could look like at the end of the Elevate renewal project.  This was shown to us using a hand-held PDA system.

Please use this link below to show you the feedback which we supplied to Elevate etc.

Go to http://www.egovtv.tv/home.asp
where you will be asked to fill in a short form with your name, email and phone number. Click submit and you will be directed to the e-gov home page. On the left hand side of the home page you will see a banner that says "new content". Under this is a link to "Case study - engaging towns in regeneration". Click that and you will see the film. Even with broadband it seemed to take a while to download. The running time is 6.5 minutes.

Watch our Terraced Property rise like a Pheonix from the Ashes.

Terraced Property on Dall Street recieves its much deserved Full Renovation. Brick by Brick watch this property be fully regenerated from its bare brick beginnings.

Updates complete with Photographic evidence will be submitted to these pages for all to watch its progress.

Many thanks goes to Mr & Mrs. Steve Robinson and his team Simon & Gary for all their hard work and commitment on this project, and the Ass. Committee members for their input and keeping the team from dehydrating with the cups of tea and coffee.

We are hoping to bring in a final price on this properties completion for all the work its untaken, to show Elevate etc, that it STILL CAN be cheaper to fully renovate these terraced properties, THAN to send in the BULL-DOZER'S and lose these structually sound, stone built terraced homes.

Our property, is a stone constructed mid terraced house, within easy walking distance from the Town Centre. And also offers easy access to Parliament Street's local shopping centre. Which comprises of Post Office, Newsagents. Fish and Chip Shop, D.I.Y shop, Video Shop, Hairdressers, Fruiters and the local fast food sandwich bar) What more could a local community wish for ? Just a short walk and we have our very own Springfield Junior School, and a little further walk approx 10 minutes you have Towneley High School that is situated in miles upon miles of local Park Land with the regular visits by coach tripers to the well known Towneley Hall. We also have a Chemist and Local GP Surgery in the area. As you can see we have all the necessary amenities we as a community need.

Our property comprises of a Vestibule into the lounge area. Dining Room, Fully Extended Kitchen. Yard Space.

1st floor comprises of a master bedroom on the left of the stair case, complete with fitted storage space.

To the right of the stair way is the landing area, from the landing area, to the left you have the second bedroom.

Down the landing at the bottom you'll find the bathroom.

From the photographs on the photo section of this website, you can see what these area's look like from the start of this project until her completion
